This Institute admits students based on their marks in class 12th and follows guidelines given by Tamil Nadu government in this regard. JEE Mains exam ranking, unfortunately has no role to play.  UGC has recently advised all Universities to stop offering any professional course including engineering via distance education mode. Hence please do not think on these lines. You can however think of doing your AMIE which is like distance but is acceptable as equivalent to graduation. Best wishes
