Aspirants must complete Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies with at least 50% aggregate to apply for BTech at SRM University Sonepat.

To take Admission in SRM Sonepat for BTech programme, you must qualify the entrance exam and complete the enitre admission process which consist of multiple steps, including application process, entrance exam, interview/counselling, etc. Also candidates must qualify the eligibility criteria.
Eligibility: Twelve years of school education with 50% aggregate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology as compulsory subjects.
Selection criteria: SRMJEEE/ SRMHCAT/ JEE Main/ SAT/ IPU CET

SRM University Sonepat Admission to its BTech programme is strictly based on the entrance exams. SRMJEE is a national-level engineering entrance exam for admission to BTech courses offered at SRMIST campuses. SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) will be held in 2 phases and in remorse online proctored mode. Also the University accepts National level exam JEE Mains for admission to its BTech Programme. So candidates are required to have a valid scores of the above mentioned exams. Admission without JEE is not possible as per the University's admission guidelines.

Maharaja Agrasen University, Shimla is a better option compared to Alakh Prakash Goyal Shimla University if you are pursuing B.Tech . The university gives better placement opportunities with an average package of INR 6 Lacs Per Annum, which is better than what most private universities offer.

Because Centurion University of Technology and Management is the best college of B.Tech it has also revised rankings of best Engineering colleges in India as Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee improved its ranking as it shifted to rank 5 in 2023 when as compared to rank 6 in 2022.
