Yes, getting a B.Tech position at IIIT Pune is considered tough, as it relies on a good score in the JEE Main exam. The entrance exam can be tough, especially for popular programs like Computer Science
Factors contributing to the difficulty
IIIT Pune, like other reputable engineering institutions, uses JEE Main scores for admissions, and securing a strong rank is crucial.
Number of seats available in each programme is finite.
Some B.Tech specializations, particularly Computer Science, have higher cutoffs.

CSE/IT in NITS is almost not possible but non core branches are possible in last round/spot round. Also newer IIITs have options, you can try ECE/IT in new IIITs also. You can give VITEEE exam otherwise in general category. All the courses with integrated M.Tech are tough to get in 95000 rank

Most students in Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) and various other sites need to pass entrance tests JEE Main or MHT CET to gain entrance into B.Tech programs. Several private colleges enable direct admission depending on student merit levels or college management-approved slots. Private colleges in certain cases will admit students straight away according to their merit scores but Class 12 achievement marks establish their entry qualifications.

The general time span of an integrated BTech EE+ M Tech Power Systems Engineering course is 5 years in India, presenting you with a dual degree in the field. To pursue the course at popular Indian institutions, you can go for a few of the top IITs offering the same, including IIT Kharagpur, IIT BHU, Varanasi, IIT Patna, and IIT Bhubaneswar. You need to get at least 75% marks in Class 12 and score well in the entrance exams to grab a seat for the course at these prestigious colleges.
