Yes, B.Tech degrees from Malaysia are valid in India, especially if they belong to a reputed or accredited university. Most of the universities in Malaysia are globally accredited, including Universiti Malaya, Monash Malaysia, UTM, Taylor's, and APU. The only thing students must ensure is that the degree must be recognised by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency and accredited under the Washington Accord.

Rani Channamma University (RCUB) itself does not enrol students directly into its own BTech programme on its main campus. Instead, BTech is offered by its affiliated Engineering colleges, with admission managed through KCET, COMED-K, and management quota channels. According to general admission norms shared for the affiliated Engineering colleges under RCUB:

  • 45? % of seats are allocated via KCET
  • 30? % through COMED-K
  • 25? % under the management/ NRI quota, sometimes shared with additional state quota, note that other sources say 20? % for management, which may vary slightly between colleges.
