Business Management Studies Eligibility

The admission criteria at the GRG School of Management Studies for Women (GRGSMS) for pursuing MBA/PGDM are as follows :-

1. Academic Qualification :- A Bachelor's degree in any subject from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Final year students can also apply as long as they graduate before the start of the MBA.

2. They must have any of the scores from the following entrance exams :-

CAT
MAT
XAT
CMAT
TANCET
Those who haven't gone through any of the examinations but have completed their undergraduate degree may be considered through academic merit and other criteria as determined by the institution.

3. GD and PI :-
The shortlisted candidates based on the entrance scores have to participate in a group discussion and personal interview session. The GD & PI exercise assesses communication skills, leadership potential, and problem-solving skills, as well as overall suitability for the MBA program.

4. Final selection: It is a function of:

score on the entrance
performance on GD and PI
academic performance,
work experience (if applicable).
The institution's whole purpose is to evaluate candidates holistically in terms of academic qualifications, entrance performance, and personal attributes for admission.

Education Qualifications:

A candidate should have completed her Bachelor's degree in any subject of study from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/Other-Backward class) to be eligible for seeking MBA admission at GRGSMS.
Final-year undergraduate students can also apply, provided they complete their degree before the MBA programme starts.
Entrance examination score: 

Must have a valid score in any of the following entrance tests:
CAT
MAT
XAT
CMAT
TANCET.
Certain others may be considered on the basis of merit in academics combined with performance in a personal interview.

Group Discussion and Interview.

The candidates who get shortlisted will be called for Group Discussion or Personal Interview as a part of the selection process.
