The University will release a merit list of candidates selected for the counselling round on its official website soon after the declaration of GNDU GMET result. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear at the university main campus for interview rounds along with the required documents. Candidates must report at the alloted date and time, failing which candidate's request for change in date and time will not be entertained.

On the basis of the GNDU GMET score candidates are offered following MBA specialisations:
- MBA
- MBA (Financial Services), and
- MBA (Marketing and Retail Management) programmes.
Candidates qualifying the GNDU GMET exam will be shortlisted for counselling process. Basis the performance in entrance test and cousnelling rounds, candidates are shortlisted for final admission in desired course.

The GNDU GMET 2026 counselling is conducted at the University campus. The candidates have to be personally present for GD/PI and verification of documents. GNDU GMET 2026 counselling is expected to be held in July 2026. The details for GNDU GMET 2026 counselling will be released tentatively in first week of July 2026.

The minimum CAT percentile for IIM Ranchi is around 93. Yes, Mysore University offers two-year MBA spread across four semesters. This two-year PG course is offered in Agribusiness Management specialisation apart from the general MBA. Admission to the PG programme is entrance-based. The university conducts Postgraduate Entrance Exam (PGEE) that a candidate take as well for admission. Further, the merit list is prepared as per the applicant’s scores in one of the accepted exams - MAT, Karnataka Karnataka PGCET, XAT, etc. Moreover, the university also offers an online MBA.
