VMOU MET syllabus s prescribed by the Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU). The exam is conducted for admission to MBA programmes offered by the University. The VMOU MET syllabus includes all the important topics from Reading Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation and Numerical Ability, the subjects common to all MBA entrance exams.

VMOU MET exam is conducted in pen and paper mode. The duration of the exam is two hours and the question paper consists of 100 questions from Reading Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation and Numerical Ability. Each question in the VMOU MET 2025 question paper will carry 1 mark for correct attempt. The total marks is 100. There is no negative marking in VMOU MET.

Self-attested copies of candidate’s photograph, signature, mark sheets of relevant qualifications and age certificate are required to fill the VMOU MET application form. Candidates can also submit self-attest photocopies of experience certificate, category certificate, physically handicapped certificate, ex-serviceman/ Kashmir migrant/war window certificate.

Application fee of VMOU MET 2025 exam is INR 1,000 that can be paid online via debit/credit card or net banking. The application fee can also be paid through e-Mitra. The application fee is non-refundable, thus candidates must fill their application forms correctly. There is no option of form correction VMOU MET either.

Yes, candidates can apply for VMOU MET exam online. The form is released at Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University website. Candidates need to fill relevant fields and upload important documents to register for the exam. The application fee is to be paid through e-Mitra or online banking facility.

Candidates who have a valid score of CAT and CMAT need not appear for VMOU MET. They can apply for admission basis their score in these exams. However, scores should not be more than one year old. For example, if you plan for VMOU MBA in 2026, you must have passed CAT 2025 or CMAT in 2026.

Candidates who have cleared bachelor’s or equivalent degree from any recognised University with minimum 50 per cent aggregate are eligible to apply for VMOU MET exam. Final year graduation students can also apply but they will have to have completed the course by the time of admission into MBA at VMOU.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham offers BBA course at the UG level. The duration for the course is four years and divided into eight semesters. The other admission related details are mentioned in the points below:

  • Eligibility- Class 12 or equivalent any stream with an aggregate minimum of 50% marks from CBSE /State Board/ICSE.
  • Selection- Selection will be based on merit and interview process.
