FPM shortlists candidates based on their entrance exam scores and performance in the personal interview round. The process begins with reviewing the application forms and Research Proposal. The shortlisted applicants go through a two-stage interview process – Research Aptitude Test (RAT) and Personal Interviews. Research Aptitude Test consists of two parts – General Aptitude and Research Aptitude. Besides, the institute also considers scores in CAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE or UGC-JRF. Once selection is done, provisional admission letters are issued to the selected candidates.

FPM or Fellow Programme in Management is a four-year AICTE approve programme offered at the doctoral level by SP Jain. Candidates can pursue the programme in full-time and part-time mode depending on their requirements. Admission to the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) at S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) is strictly based on merit. The assessment of an applicant is on the basis of his/ her profile, the qualifying entrance scores, and the interview process. SPJIMR communicates directly with all the shortlisted candidates. 

For MBA admissions at BRABU, a Bachelor degree from a recognized university is required with preference given to candidates with scores from national entrance exams like CAT, MAT or XAT. XAT scores are accepted by over 160 B-school for postgraduate management program. Candidates scoring between the 60th and 80th percentile in XAT can secure admission to select MBA colleges with strong placement record. SP Jain Institute of Management and Research has specified the minimum criteria for taking admission in PGDM programme. Aspirants are required to qualify GMAT for admission to PGDM course. As per the previous year SPJIMR cutoff, the required overall percentile was 85 and sectional was 50. Besides, aspirants must also fulfil the eligibility criteria. Candidates need to complete Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate and must also have a minimum of five-years work experience.

AISECT University reports a 70-80% placement rate for MBA students with the highest salary package reaching 6 LPA. Notable recruiters include TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and banking institutions.
