The university shortlist candidates for MBA course based on KMAT score. KMAT Karnataka or Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) is conducted by the Karnataka Post Graduate Private Colleges' Association (KPPGCA) for admission to MBA course. Shortlisted aspirants are called for PI round. After completion of the selection rounds, shortlisted candidates are called for counselling and document verification. Candidates need to pay the course fee to confirm their admission.

It is a very good college. Yes! you can get an admission there. But there is some conditions:

You should have above 70  Percentage  in your 10th and 12th Along with graduation or Diploma. If you are a fresher then You should take some internship or if possible work in NG0s to enhance your CV. Through TANCET, the University of Madras Distance Education accepts applications for MBA programs.

 The minimum scores needed for students in each category are taken into account when determining the cutoff for the TANCET MBA course.

The MBA program's general category TANCET qualifying cutoff is 37.5, while the reserved category cutoff ranges from 22.5 to 35.25.

The following national level entrance exam results are accepted by Madras University Distance Education (IDE) for admissions-

IIMs administer the Common Admission Test, or CAT.
AIMA administers the Management Aptitude Test (MAT).
CMAT stands for the AICTE's Common Management Admission Test.
XLRI Jamshedpur's Xavier Aptitude Test, or XAT for short.
AIMS Test for Management Admission, or ATMA.
Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test is known as TANCET.
 Madras University IDE accepts valid GMAT results for MBA admission.

The following are the minimal  scores usually required to be admitted to Madras University Distance Education (IDE) MBA programs for the 2023 batch:

  1. The educational prerequisite is a bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50% (45% in reserved categories).
  2. Minimum 70 percentile for CAT/XAT, 65 percentile for CMAT, 55 percentile for MAT, and 65 percentile for ATMA

The following are the main criteria for admission -

  1. A valid score on entrance exams such as the TANCET, CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, or ATMA is necessary.
  2. The candidate needs to have graduated from an accredited university with a bachelor's degree in any field after at least three years of study.

The fees for AMITY Buisness school is around 1.7L -13.4L 

The fees for NIILM is 4.8L - 5.5L 

So AMITY is expensive than NIILM
