Further, it is necessary that the candidate hold the HSC/Class 12 pass certificate during form filling and admission confirmation. The documents are required for verification purposes. To secure admission to BTech at Calcutta University, students must pass the state-level entrance examination, i.e., WBJEE with a good score. Candidate should also have the minimum eligibility, which is class 12 pass with 50% aggregate. The eligible students can also submit the online form (caluniv.ac.in). The university again shortlists students on the basis of their entrance test and allots seats.
