No, you cannot get direct admission to B.A LL.B at the Faculty of Law, Calcutta University. The admission to the B.A LL.B programme is based on the merit list prepared based on the Entrance Examination conducted by the University of Calcutta. The eligibility criteria for admission to the B.A LL.B programme at Calcutta University is passing the H.S. (Class 12 level) examination with minimum 45% (40% in case of SC/ST and P.H.) marks in aggregate (taking into consideration best of 4 papers excluding WBCHSE Environment Science). Calcutta University cutoff 2023 has been concluded with the release of WBJEE JECA Round 2 Seat Allotment Result for Discontinued (2023) Master of Computer Applications (MCA) course. As per the cutoff, the Round 1 closing rank for MCA was 99 and Round 2 closing rank was 102 for the General category All India candidates.
