For admissions to the BTech course at Calcutta University, applicants must have completed all the eligibility requirements and the selection process required by the university. The university releases the merit list of some of the shortlisted candidates according to their scores secured in the last qualifying examination. Further, for some courses, such as BTech, MBA, etc., the university accepts the relevant scores of JEE Mains, CAT, WBJEE scores, and others. While registering for the UoC BCom course, candidates need to pay an application fee. The registration fee for BCom is INR 1,500. Aspirants can pay their fee via credit card, debit card, internet banking, or UPI. Only after the payment of the application fee, students complete the registration process. Apart from the application fee, aspirants need to pay a course fee after completion of the selection process.

MBA at Calcutta University offers MBA courses in full-time and part-time mode, the morning shift MBA courses are offered in full-time mode, two full academic years, which will include theoretical courses, project and dissertation work, divided into four semesters. Additionally, evening shift MBA courses are offered in part-time mode, for three academic years, which will include theoretical courses, project, and dissertation work, divided into six semesters.
