The university accept applications via online mode. Hence, the eligible students can visit the university official website to register and apply. The details required for registration are basic details, such as applicants name, mobile number, interested course, etc. Moreover, the application form must be submitted on or before the prescribed deadline. To submit the form successfully, the application fee amount of INR 500 for general and INR 250 for reserved categories has to be paid.

For admission to BA LLB programme of Faculty of Law, Calcutta University, candidates must meet the prescribed eligibility and selection criteria. The aspirants who are Class 12 pass with at least 45% aggregate (40% for reserved categories) are eligible to register and take the entrance test. Calcutta University admit candidates to the integrated course based on Calcutta University Law Entrance Test (CULET-UG) scores. For 2024 admission, the e-counselling rounds were scheduled on Aug 30, 2024,  Sep 9, 2024 and Sep 13, 2024, as per unofficial sources.

A concise placements report is not available as of now for BA LLB placed students. However, as per the Calcutta University NIRF report 2023, the median package offered to UG (five-year) students stood at INR 7.84 LPA. Moreover, out of 119 students, 95 were placed.
