As of December 18, 2024, the University of Calcutta has not yet announced the admission dates for the Postgraduate (PG) Agriculture programs for the 2025 academic session. In the previous cycle, the university extended the application deadline to September 13, 2024, for M.Sc. and B.Tech. admissions, including those in Agricultural Sciences.

Eligibility criteria to pursue CSE

For eligibility for a BTech in CSE, candidates must have passed the Class 12 exam from an accredited board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their core courses. A minimum cumulative score of 60% in the aforementioned subjects is also required of candidates.

The cutoff ranks for the B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University of Calcutta for the 2024 WBJEE Round 2 were between 634 and 4348 for the General AI category. The B.Tech in CSE was the most competitive course in this category. 

Students who wish to enroll in Calcutta University's MBA programme must pass the CAT, MAT, XAT, or JEMAT entrance exams with a valid score. Following exam qualification, the GD and PI rounds are used for the final selection.

For admission to the Chinese language programme at Calcutta University, you can apply for a Certificate or Diploma course. The eligibility requirement is graduation in any discipline. The classes are held in the evening, and the duration of the courses is one year. An entrance test may be required for specific courses.
