For admissions to the BTech course at Calcutta University, applicants must have completed all the eligibility requirements and the selection process required by the university. The university releases the merit list of some of the shortlisted candidates according to their scores secured in the last qualifying examination. However, the admission requirements and provision of direct admission can be different at affiliated colleges and institutions. Yes, Calcutta University does offer BA courses as general and honours courses for the duration of three years, divided into six semesters. The university offers BA courses through the affiliated colleges and its campus. To get admission into the courses, applicants are required to complete their Class 12 with relevant subjects.

Calcutta University WBJEE cut off 2024 has been released. As per the cutoff data, the last round closing rank for the BTech course ranged between 1208 and 95,829 for the General All India category students. Electronics & Communication Engineering and Information Technology emerged as the most competitive specialisation.
