Admission to postgraduate (PG) courses at Calicut university through entrance exam or PGCAP application depends upon the courses.
PGCAP Admission: For most non professional PG course (like M.A., M.Sc., M.Com.) admission is merit based through the PGCAP online portal

The cutoff mark for the Master of Commerce at Calicut University is determined based on the applications submitted and the number of vacancies. All students must have a degree in B.Com or an equivalent one satisfying 45% marks, in order to be eligible. Cut-off marks for M.Com. change from year to year. Closure marks in 2022 for general category students stood around 35.
