Mahatma Gandhi University Kerala, also known as MGU Kerala or MG University is a state-level university that is recognised by the UGC and is accredited with an 'A' Grade by the NAAC. The university was established in 1983. MGU has been given a rank band 501-600 by Times Higher Education 2024. As per the NIRF 2023, MGU is awaded with 31st rank among the top universities in India.
