No, in order to get admission to the MSc Clinical Psychology programme at Calicut University, aspirants must have a BA or BSc degree in Psychology from Calicut University or some other recognised institute.

And, yes, Calicut University is a prestigious institute. Established in 1968, it is the largest university in the state of Kerala. As per the NIRF 2024 University Rankings, the university has made it in the top 100 universities in the country. It was ranked 89.

Calicut University has been ranked 89 under the University category by the NIRF in 2024. It is recognised by the UGC and is approved by the AICTE. It is accredited with an "A" Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. Admissions are open for various courses for 2024 and the accepted entrance exams are KEAM, CMAT, CUCAT, and others.
