Capilano University has an acceptance rate of 23%, indicating that out of 100 applications, only 23 students will be granted admission to the university hence making admissions for the students relatively competitive and selective to Capilano University. On the contrary, the acceptance rate at University Canada West is around 80% indicating that out of 100 students that apply to the university around 80 students will be granted admission to the university thus making admissions for international students to the university simple and easy. Another residence facility offered by CapU University is the CapU Squamish Housing. This facility is located in the heart of the CapU Squamish Campus adjacent to the University’s recreation, academic services, and student services. The facility offers three suite configurations i.e. a single room paired with an adjoining washroom, a single room with a private bathroom, and a single room with an adjoining bathroom. The facilities also include a study space, TV room, Community lounges, and free laundry facility along with a bike storage space.

Capilano University considers the safety of its students of utmost importance and hence ensures the safety of all the students and the University’s faculty and staff through carefully devised effective policies and procedures. In case a student witnesses or faces any crime that takes place around the university, the student can file a complaint against the incident.
