1. Work experience - Nothing can match this. Choose a job role that suits you or at least interests you remotely and get practical exposure working in an organisation. It also gives you time to reflect in the mean time as to how to proceed going forward. When you are working, lot depends on how innovative, creative, disciplined and forth coming you are as an individual. Take up more responsibilities and work, build your contacts slowly and steadily, be on the look for resources to boost your knowledge and skills internally or through online support. Initial years of work experience should be full of learning and stretching yourself.
2. Higher studies - There are people who prefer Masters in similar subjects or related ones as in graduation and others who want to make a shift to Management zone like an MBA. My suggestion, wait for 2-3 years to make this move. See, when you want to take up the Masters. Say 2 years after working, then you must get going after 1 year into working as it needs lot of preparation. But if its like an MBA or even a technical course which itself needs minimum of 3 years work experience then take that much time. Only advice is, research a lot as to which universities and courses you want to do and speak to the alumni from the place to see if your understanding is on the same page.

It's nice to see your interest in Culinary Arts. My suggestion would be to go for Culinary courses specifically, as you have your dreams specific.
I chose BHM because I wanted to learn all four core departments. If you're doing BHM, it's just a waste of time because you know your specific field of interest and I would suggest you to mould yourself towards it.
Diploma in Culinary Arts will give you basics to all the cuts, preparations, methods of cooking and various other aspects. Culinary Arts doesn't need a degree, it needs experience rather.
And to support your basics, you will need a Culinary degree not full-fledged Hotel Management degree. My suggestion would be courses in Culinary Arts.

Candidates are required to appear for the entrance test conducted at the institute campus.
Total Marks 100, Duration 2 hrs. at Apeejay campus, New Delhi
There will be two Sections: Objective & Subjective questions comprising:
General Awareness, General Knowledge and Current Affairs (50 marks).Questions related to the field of chosen course. (50 Marks)
Direct Admission (Through Interview)
There will be Direct Admission for those students with 60% and above marks in graduation, those pursuing final year but have 60% & above marks in their first two years, are exempt from the written test. However, they have to appear before the interview panel.
How to apply
Prospectus can be obtained from the Institute on payment of Rs.900/- in cash or by post by sending DD for Rs.900/- in favour of "Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication", payable at New Delhi.
