Computer engineering has very good career option, mainly in private sector. IT sector has also great demand for CS branch as it is only focuses on technical field. The major recruiters of CS engineers are ISRO, DRDO, ONGC, BHEL, etc. They recruit on basis of GATE score card. But ISRO AND DRDO have their own exam for jobs for different post. Have some extra knowledge too because it helps you to show more your talent to the interviewers also.
