A Rigging artist is responsible for creating the skeleton of a 3D model, ensuring that all the joints and muscles work correctly and accurately, so the animators can start to position the models creatively. Character riggers are responsible for using computer programs to form skeletons by creating a series of bones that deform and animate specific parts of the character. Character riggers may also help develop tools for animation production processes, collaborate with modelers and animators, and develop new techniques to solve character production challenges.
Character riggers work in animation studios, for game design companies, web design firms, computer software companies, and more. A rigger will have to work closely with the modeler to make sure the models design allows for the type of movement a rigger will seek to implement.
India has over 300 animation studios employing over 12,000 animation professionals. Beside this, Indian companies are creating a number of animated films and cartoons for US and European studios. Therefore, the chances for good creative animators never ends.

Well, to be frank, BCA if done properly and on a regular mode, is a full-fledged programme and doesn't really give time to pursue another course simultaneously.

You may not get the exact profile you aspired for but it is a great way to get an exposure to the functioning of an organisation. 2. Learning enhancement certifications- Aptech, NIIT, etc. offer some programming and networking certifications- Java, PERL, SQL, R, Python, C+ to name a few. Join a certification based on your areas of interest and make it a talking point on your resume.
