Identify the socio-political and cultural changes that brought about changes in themes and style of the English writers. Appraise the impact of cultural changes on the growth of English Literature. Analyze how literature reflects the concerns and prejudices of its own time. Journalistic and creative writing :Imparts the practical knowledge of Journalism and creative writing. Course Outcomes: Through this course students should be able to describe the nuances of creative writing evaluate the basic writing techniques compose poetry, prose and journalistic articles trace the common components used for poetry and fiction restate the literary techniques used in writing drama and media
SHAKESPEARE: Provides the knowledge of Shakespeare plays
Course Outcomes: Through this course students should be able to define a variety of Shakespearean dramatic forms, including Shakespearean tragedy, history, and comedy plays describe Shakespeare's identity as well as provide an account of his life and the legacy of his work Identify, compare, and contrast the major dramas produced by William Shakespeare. From IILM University is a 5 year integrated course, students with any discipline from recognised board in 10+2 can do it.
