In my views, Biotechnology is a multidisciplinary course, that has various subjects like genetic engineering, biochemistry, microbiology, environmental biotech, agriculture biotechnology, fermentation, food biotechnology, plant and animal tissue culture, chemistry etc. One can choose any subjects for career opportunities and research after under graduation in biotechnology. It is best course for students after 12 class medical or non-medical. On the other hand, choice of a good college is equally important, because biotechnology subjects need practical exposure and proper knowledge of lab work to get better job opportunities or for research work. PCTE college of biotechnology, situated in Ludhiana is one of best colleges in Punjab. PCTE provides practical exposure to the subjects offer under B.Sc. Biotechnology. Faculty of Biotechnology arrange various guest lectures by experts and industrial visits, so that students can learn best of the subjects under biotechnology.
