Hi Philips,
The Eligibility for ATC, is only Indian Nationals who have one of the following educational qualifications (with minimum 60% marks) can apply for the post of Junior Executive (ATC). Regular full time Bachelor's Degree (3 years) in Science (B.Sc ) with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized university. Or, full time regular Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology (BE /B.Tech) in any discipline.

UG courses in Optometry include:

  • Diploma in Optometry
  • Bachelor of Optometry (B. Optm. )
  • Bachelor of Clinical Optometry
  • Bachelor of Clinical Optometry (Lateral Entry) etc.

After doing under-graduation in any of the above courses, the PG courses include:

  • Master of Optometry
  • Master of Optometry (M. Optm. )

Clinical Research Coordinator, Biostatics & Programming Manager, Clinical Data Analyst, Research Assistant, Lab Manager, Research Scientist, Medical Image Analysis Researcher, Pharmacist, Biomedical Scientist.
I can't say that college will give the placement or not.

No work is bad if its of your interest. But from my opinion, its not that good job profile with not many job opportunities. Please think about it and also consult the faculty of the same. Once to opt its difficult to change or waste one year. Please like and follow.

B.Sc-Nursing or B.Sc-Medical Lab Technology can be the good options for you. You have to choose some good private universities like LPU, Amity etc. As per your convenience. The entrance exam of such universities could not be a big issue for you. The entrance exam is held for scholarship purpose only hence, you can easily get admission there.

If you have done MCA or B.Tech, you can go for GATE exam. You can apply again for IT jobs if they require experience. Choose wisely according to your interest.
