The time is evolving and the companies now a days are looking at candidates who have the right certificates. If you planning to work as a Treasury Manager, Investment Counselors, Financial Consultants, Private Banking (RM), , etc. Than you can check NSE Academy website https://www.ncfm-india.com/ORE/OREGAFA.jsp, there is a programme GAFA, they also have placement assistance on successful completions of the programme. There are two course for now, I guess:
BHM - Bachelor of hotel management
BCT - Bachelor of catering technology
BHM is for people who like service, housekeeping, receptionist they should have good communication skills.
BCT - is for those who like cooking want to become chef, it is a culinary filed.
So, you can choose BCT.
There are IIM in every state. It is a government institute proving course on both BHM and BCT. There are limited seats, apart from that private institutes. They will take you after conducting simple aptitude test and the standard fee is around INR. 80k to INR. 1.2 per year.
