FORE School of Management considers CAT score for admission to PGDM course. The last three-year cutoff for MBA was 85 in CAT. In 2022, the minimum percentile for XAT was 70. Candidates need to qualify any of the accepted entrance exams for admission to PGDM course.

Admission to NIT Surathkal for MBA specialisation is conducted through CAT percentile. Based on the percentile, the National Institute of Technology cutoff 2023 was released for the candidates. As per the cutoff released, 70 percentile was qualifying cutoff for CAT to get an admission into IIM Vishakhapatnam. However, with the growing competition, it is quite obvious 70 percentile won't get a selection in the upcoming admission sessions. Admission to IIM Visakhapatnam is conducted through CAT percentile. As per the cutoff released, 92 percentile was qualifying cutoff for CAT to get an admission into IIM Visakhapatnam. With the growing competition, it is assumed that 92 percentile won't get a selection in the upcoming admission sessions. So, getting a percentile of more than 92 is crucial. It is quite possible that an 85 percentile CAT score is sufficient even though in university MBA has a cut off of 70 % to 90%. Passing the CUMES cut off marks is not a guarantee to admissions; there are other requirements that have to be met.&
