For CAT, less than 80 percentile is not considered a good cutoff to apply to top MBA colleges. However, many B-schools in India accept 60 to 80 percentiles in the CAT for MBA admission. Talking about the BITS Pilani MBA cutoff for 2022, the CAT percentile was 60 for the General AII India candidates. So, considering the past year's cutoff, the chances of getting a seat in an MBA with a CAT percentile of 77 are high.

Applicants at NIT Calicut who have a CAT percentile above 70 would have a good probability of being admitted to the MBA program.Students who score 101 or higher on the 198-mark CAT exam are awarded a 99.5+ percentile. A student's CAT exam score must be at least 92 to 5 percentiles in order to be admitted to NIT Calicut's MBA program. In order to be considered, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited university or institution, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 6.0/10 (or 60% for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC and 5.5/10 for SC/ST/PwD).
