Start Early While the repeaters need only a couple of months to revise, the first-time takers need to start preparing early, at least a year before the actual CAT exam. Make a Schedule Make a Plan and Stick to it! Get the right tools The right tools can be a lifesaver saving valuable time and effort. Take Mock Tests. Analyze yourself.

There's no cutoff as such at DOMS IIT Madras. The department calculates a composite score based on your profile and CAT score. Based on the composite score, people get calls for interview. After the interview, interview marks will be added to the composite score and then admissions are given to the candidates in descending order of the final scores. The weightage of various components in your profile, CAT score and interview marks will not be revealed.

Candidates should need to score a minimum of 88 percentile for taking admission in the MBA course. However, In order to be eligible for Group Discussion and Personal Interview the candidate is required to have a minimum score of 10% ( 5% in case of served category) in each component of CAT. Also out of 100% 85% weightage will be given to the entrance exam scorecard for taking admission in the MBA course.

As you have completed graduation in hotel management from Switzerland, so surely you can apply for CAT in India. It requires graduation from any recognised University from India or out of India.
