Unlike other MBA entrance exams such as SNAP and XAT, there is no extra charge for selecting IIMs in the CAT application form. For overall CAT application form you will need to pay only INR 2500 (INR 1250 for SC/ST/PWD candidates). You can select as many IIM campuses, and courses as you want to.

Once the CAT application form has been submitted, an acknowledgement slip will be generated and mailed to the registered email ID. If the acknowledgement is not received within 24 hours of CAT application form submission, candidates must check the status of application by calling at the CAT helpdesk and check the status of fee payment with their bank.

CAT 2025 application process began on August 1, 2025. The CAT registrations dates 2025 were announced by IIM Kozhikode on July 27, 2025 through the official exam notification. The CAT application process 2025 is being conducted online at iimcat.ac.in website and the registration window is open till September 20, 2025.

No, CAT is not compulsory to get admissions into the MBA course at Thapar University because the university accepts several other entrance examinations too for admission into the MBA course, such as MAT, SNAP, XAT, etc. Therefore, CAT can be considered as one of the accepted entrance examinations for admissions to MBA courses. However, it is not compulsory.

Yes, you can admission to a MBA programme of Jamia Hamdard without CAT score. As the university accept other entrance exam scores as well. Aspirants with a valid CMAT/MAT/GMAT/XAT/GPAT/ATMA scores can also apply for admission. Besides, it is also important that the course aspirants fulfil the prescribed eligibility requirements. The eligible students can further proceed with the admission formalities.

No, you would not be able to get admission to this institute with a CAT percentile of 80 if you belong to the General AI category. As per the estimated CAT cutoff for the General category students under the All India quota, candidates would need to secure at least 85 percentile to be considered eligible for the next round of admissions.
Note- IBS Hyderabad does not release the CAT cutoff publicly. It is only accessible to students who appear in the exam and have login credentials. So, the data mentioned above is an estimate and not official.

IBS Hyderabad cutoff 2025 was released for enrollment to the MBA course based on the students' performance in the CAT entrance examination. For the General AI category, the lowest percentile needed for admission was 85 based on the estimated cutoff data for this category.
