Around 70% B.Sc. students get placements in the Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition in Srinagar. The highest salary package was around INR 3.25 Lacs per annum, while for on-job trainees the packages began at INR 2 Lacs per annum.
Leading recruiters were ITC and Oberoi Hotels.
