The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering & Nutrition (IHM Delhi) is generally considered to be one of the best hotel management institutes in India, if not the best. It is ranked #1 in India by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) and is also ranked among the top 50 hospitality schools in the world by QS World University Rankings.
The Institute of Hotel Management Kolkata (IHM Kolkata) is also a highly regarded hotel management institute, ranked #10 in India by NCHMCT. However, IHM Delhi is generally considered to be the more prestigious and competitive institute.

Students of BSc in Catering and Hotel Administration will get their bachelor's degree from Alagappa University. Along with this, all the degree courses at the institute are offered in affiliation with Alagappa University only.
