You can't take admission in D.Y.Patil College of Engineering directly in 2nd year, as you are not into Diploma. Only Diploma students are allowed for going directly into 2nd year through lateral entry.

If you want a UG degree in Animation then you must pass inter final (+2). In the last 20 years, several thousands of 10th passed students have studied animation course but they are all Diploma or certificate courses. Whether it is Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai or Hyderabad, no institute which offers a Diploma course is going to tell you that you are not eligible. Well, yes, you have open doors to take admission in BBM programme even after being from Science stream.
But the minimum criterion for getting admission in BBM is 55% in 12th. Some colleges take direct admission too.

This would be subject to the score you achieve at CAT. In case you get more than 95 percentile, then you can be assured of getting admission in a good MBA institute. To get into IIMs, you should have 99 percentile score. So, maintain focus, prepare well and give your best shot at the CAT scheduled on 25th Nov'18.
