Hello,
You have to opt science stream with physics, chemistry and mathematics/ biology/agriculture as main subjects from a recognised board. Further to be eligible for appearing in civil services examination for joining IFS, you need to complete your graduation degree with one of the subjects mentioned here which are Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or Engineering from a recognised university.
All the best.

Hello,
Go through a deep analysis that what are your areas of interest and what are your future goals and what you want to become in life and after the analysis, go through each subject detail and analyse the subjects deeply that you have interest in it.
I think this will work for you.
Best of luck.

Hello,
It's great that you are concerned for his future. The first thing you have to do is to know what is his area of interest and what he likes and wants to become. You can tell him to analyse himself to know what are his areas of interest. This is the best way to analyse what he wants to do and I think this will work for him and will help him in deciding his path for the future.
All the best.

Firstly, I would recommend you complete class 10th. It is important to have that foundation course. Thereafter, you can choose class 11, 12 and then graduation in your preferred field or you can directly do Diploma which keeps options open for an integrated degree or even direct work.

Depending on which course you want to pursue like Science, Commerce or Arts which is again based on the interest and potential, choose college accordingly. There are different colleges popular for different courses. So, choose what works best for you.
Also, since there is a rigorous study post 10th, during class 11th and 12th both for theory and practical studies plus the entrance exam preparations if any, make sure you choose the location also appropriately to save time. Have a balance in distance between coaching centres if any and college and home.
