Hi,
Frankly speaking, your previous education has nothing to do with what you learn in animation. None of the curriculum from schools teaches you anything about the animation or anything about the computer graphics. So, your percentage of success or failure in class 12th or any other class is really not a matter of concern. There is only one question you need to ask yourself, whether or not you are creative and are willing to venture into a segment where there is no theory classes involved. Animation and VFX, gaming or designing, these are vocational programs which demand 100% practical knowledge.

According to my knowledge your graduation marks and CAT percentiles are depend for IIMs call but if you want 80 to 90 percent's are good and enough for a good B-school or IIM college.

IIMs prefer CAT marks. So give CAT and score above 90% aggregate, definitely you will be having a fair chance.
