Poornima College of Engineering (PCE) primarily admits students to its B.Tech programs through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main score. The minimum eligibility criteria for B.Tech at PCE is a pass in the 12th standard examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and a minimum aggregate score of 60% for General and OBC categories and 55% for SC, ST, and Physically Handicapped categories.

However, PCE also offers Lateral Entry admission to Diploma holders and B.Sc graduates in the second year of B.Tech programs through a separate entrance exam called PCE-LEET.
