To get admission into SMIT Sikkim, the minimum percentage required in class 12th is 40. So, yes you can join SMIT, Sikkim 70% in class 12th.

For some UG courses admission is merit-based. However, some courses like B. Tech, BCA, MBA, etc. require an entrance exam score. The accepted exams are SMIT Online Test/JEE Main/MET/GATE/AIAPGET.

With a 70% Class 12 score, you can still get into RTU Kota because your admissions application is evaluated based on both your Class 12 score and your entrance exam results. The search results do not, however, include the precise cutoff percentile for a 70% score in Class 12.

Go to rtu.ac.in, the official website of RTU Kota, to see the cutoff percentiles for the various courses offered there. Remember that depending on the course and category you are in, the cutoff percentiles may change

Greetings,

Scoring 60% in class 12th is pretty decent, but it doesn't gurantee an admission solely on the basis of 12th marks. It also depends on your National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT-JEE) score. Class 12th marks serve as an eligibility criterion only. Many IHM institutes, including IHM Lucknow, have a minimum eligibility requirement of 50% in Class 12th for General category and potentially lower for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC).

So, focus in excelling in the entrance exam to increase your percentage chance of being selected.

Thanks!
