No, if you received RT (compartment) in three subjects from the CBSE, you are not eligible to take a compartment exam. According to CBSE regulations, you can only take the compartment exam if you failed one subject on the board exams for Class 10 or 12. You will have to retake all subjects in the upcoming annual board exam if you fail more than one.

Kurukshetra University (KUK) requires a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in Class 12 for admission to its B.Sc programs, so with 57% in CBSE, you are eligible to apply. However, the actual cutoffs for popular and specialised B.Sc courses at KUK are much higher. For example, in 2024, the cutoff for B.Sc in Multimedia was 90.4% and for B.Sc in Printing and Packaging Technology it was 85.2%. This means that while you can apply, admission to high-demand specializations at the main campus will be difficult with your marks. No, you can't give a compartment exam for three subjects in CBSE 2025.

The official CBSE rules state that students who fail in more than two subjects are declared "Essential Repeat" and must re-appear for all subjects in the next annual board examination.

For Class 12, the supplementary exam is only for those who failed in one subject.

For Class 10, a student can appear in one or two subjects.

Based on the latest reports, CBSE no longer publishes a national "toppers list" to discourage unhealthy competition. While your 94% is an excellent score, top performers in 2025 were students who scored 99% or above.

The board does, however, issue merit certificates to the top 0.1% of students in each subject.
