The difficulty level of CBSE Class 12 Economics paper 2026 was moderate. Students found the paper manageable. The Indian Economic Development section was largely straightforward and NCERT-based, making it easier for well-prepared students. However, the numerical question from National Income Accounting was slightly tricky, particularly due to the language used.

The University of Oxford gives critical importance to the predicted scores of the applicants who appeared for the CBSE exams.
These scores are important because, based on these, the University of Oxford rolls out the conditional offer letter. Indian applicants generally need a minimum predicted score of 95% in the 12th board exam.
If you fail to get these scores, the Oxford University can withdraw the offer. So, to apply timely at this university, predicted scored are required.
