There is no negative marking in CBSE Class 12 exam. Students must score 33% aggregate marks to pass the examination. In addition, it is also required to secure at least 33% marks in each subject.

CBSE Class 12 answer key is not released by CBSE. Some coaching institutes releases the answer key. However, those are unofficial.

CBSE 10th date sheet for supplementary exams will be released in May-June. The exam is likely to be conducted in July.

The doors of the examination hall will open 45 minutes before the time specified for the starting of the exam, i.e at 9.45 am. Students must be in their seats 30 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the exam. No students will be allowed to enter the exam hall after 10 am.

This year, CBSE has introduced major changes in the pattern of CBSE 10th 2026 exam. According to the revised structure, the Board will conduct the exam in two phases. The question paper for Science and Social Science will be divided into two sections. Science will carry subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology. Social Science comprises History, Geography, Political Science, Economics. Students will have to answer section-wise. Evaluation will be done by subject- specific teachers.
