NIT Agaratala cutoff for M.Tech is based on GATE scores followed by the GATE CCMT Counselling. The GATE 2024 cutoff scores of NIT Agartala based on the first round of GATE 2024 CCMT seat allotment is as follows -
- The maximum GATE cutoff for NIT Agartala was between 500 to 600 and the minimum GATE cutoff ranged from 200 to 300.

Round 2 seat allotment will be released on July 8, 2023, followed by Round 3 on July 13, 2023. The special GATE CCMT 2023 round will commence on July 25, 2023. GATE COAP 2023 Round 7 results will be released on June 28, 2023. The GATE COAP process was conducted for 6 rounds between May 21 to June 23, 2023.

- In the case of the same year's GATE qualification, preference will be given to the candidate who has scored higher GATE marks out of 100. - If GATE marks are out of 100 and the year of passing GATE for two candidates is the same, then preference will be based on the All India Rank (AIR). - If the marks out of 100, years of passing the GATE and AIR are the same, then the Date of Birth will be considered. As we know, admission to the M.Tech programmes offered at NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs is done via CCMT counselling based on GATE scores. The conducting body for CCMT counselling changes every year. After the announcement of the organising body, candidates can check the result of the seat allotment on the official website.
The CCMT eligibility is mentioned below: - Candidates must have a valid GATE score - A minimum of 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks must be acquired in the qualifying exam (For General and OBC). -
For SC/ST/PwD category candidates, the eligibility is set at a minimum of 6.0 CGPA or 55% marks.
