CEETA Counselling

After qualifying for CEETA PG 2026, candidates can get admission in the following universities -

• University Departments of Anna University, Chennai, Anna University Regional Campuses and University Colleges of Engineering
• Annamalai University and
• Government and Government-Aided Engineering Colleges

Candidates must check the eligibility before applying. 

To check the status of the CEETA PG counselling seat allotment, candidates have to visit the official website and login using their credentials. If you have been allotted a seat, then download the CEETA PG seat allotment letter from the candidate's portal and complete the document verification process offline.

Yes, it is mandatory to pay the counselling fee for CEETA PG, as this confirms the seat for admission. Also, candidates must note that the CEETA counselling fee is non-refundable and must be paid within the deadline. For more details, candidates must visit the official CEETA counselling website - CEAP. 

For counselling, candidates must carry their CEETA PG 2025 admit card, marksheet, educational qualification certificates and documents, followed by their category certificate, passport-size photo, etc. Candidates must note that all these documents are important for verification purposes. The CEETA PG counselling 2025 is done through the Common Engineering Admission Procedure (CEAP 2025). The candidates who have appeared for CEETA PG 2025 and who opt for admission through the CEETA PG category need not apply again for CEAP 2025. Admissions to these candidates will be based on CEETA PG scores. GATE candidates can also apply. 

CEETA PG counselling is a candidate's authentication process conducted by the authorities to offer seats in various colleges and institutes in Tamil Nadu. The CEETA PG is conducted to offer admissions to ME, MTech, MArch, and MPlan programmes. The CEETA counselling is conducted by CEAP in phases. The mode of counselling is online and the merit list is prepared based on candidate's performance. The final process in the counselling is the document verification and reporting to the institute. 

Through the CEETA admission process, candidates will get admission to various postgraduate courses such as MTech, MArch, MPlan, and ME. These postgraduate programmes are available for different branches. Candidates will be allotted seats in the following institutes -

• Anna University Regional Campuses and University Colleges of Engineering
• Annamalai University
• Government Engineering Colleges through centralised single-window online counselling.
