The candidates should note that the Southern Region has the highest number of exam centres across the nation. The Staff Selection Commission has assigned over 20 exam centres to the Southern region. The Commission assess the exam centres allotted to each region after the examination and the Commission can change the number of exam centre allotted to a specific region.

The number of candidates who appeared in the exam is the key criterion for assigning a state to the SSC CGL exam centre.

No, the cutoff is not released region-wise. It is released centrally on the official website of the commission. The SSC select the candidates based on the test conducted at the all-India level. The regional offices come into the picture for the release of admit cards and document verification only.

Except SSC CGL admit card, all the official communication regarding the SSC CGL exam is released by the central website of the Commission which is ssc.gov.in.
