It is a good startegy to prepare for one type of government exam. Banking & insurance exam are 1 type of exam with same pattern & require same kind of preparation. As focusing on various type of exam may not be that much successfully. But we can always prepare for CGL along with the bank exams. To syllabus of both exam & identify common topic like English, reasoning some topics of quantitative. I suggest to target Bank & insurance exam IBPS SBI LIC AO, RBI RRB, etc. ).

The basic and compulsory education qualification required under SSC CGL Eligibility is holding a Bachelor's Degree / Graduation or any equivalent qualification from a recognised university. Bachelor's Degree from a recognised University or Institute.

Education: Graduation (min 3 years) in any discipline with min 60% marks and have passed Maths and Physics as a subject at 10+2 level B.E/ B.Tech from a recognized University with min 60% marks. Age Limit: 20 to 24 years.
