Placement is good for Chemical Engineering. Around 95% of the students got placed. The highest package is 32 LPA, average is around 8 LPA and the lowest is 6 LPA. All major companies visited the campus for recruitment.

No, you cannot be eligible for NIT Surat in chemical engineering. As you have an low score in Mains. You should now focus on April Mains exams and score good marks to get NIT Surat.

Check with your college, if it allows inter-university migrations. The migrations are allowed after the completion of 2nd year i.e, 4th semester, but keep checking for any notifications.
