No, you will be eligible for admission to colleges if you fail in chemistry and pass other subjects in the West Bengal Board HS exams as a minimum percentage or minimum passing score for all courses is required.

Supplementary Exam: If a student fails a subject, such as chemistry, the West Bengal Board may conduct further exams.

The reputable institutes as per my limited knowledge are :

  1. IISc ( the course offered in MS chemistry )
  2. IITs ( prefer old ones as compared to new)
  3. IISER, NISER ( you can apply for IntPhD here but option of leaving with MS is always open)
  4. Courses offered in NITs
  5. Colleges like DU and BHU

No, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology aren't compatible with Legal Studies for BA LLB in CUET. You have 10 subject slots, and Legal Studies is mandatory for law programs. Focus on law-related subjects like Political Science, History, Economics, etc., for a stronger application. Check the official CUET website and Shiksha.com for details. Choose wisely!
