Chennai Institute of Technology cut off 2024 was released on the basis of TNEA. The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the All India quota. Among the Genreal AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks in the last round varied between 3537 and 18646. The table given below consists of the last round closing ranks for the General AI category candidates:

If we compare the M.Tech programme of SVUCE, Rajalakshmi Engineering College (REC) and CIT Chennai, we will see that REC and CIT Chennai have the same tuition fee at INR 50,000 whereas, SVUCE M.Tech tuition fee is varied. The total tuition fee of the M.Tech programme is INR 37,800 to 86,000 depending on the type of course chosen.

If we compare SVUCE, Rajalakshmi Engineering College and CIT Chennai, we can see that SVUCE offers more M.Tech programmes than the other two colleges. Rajalakshmi Engineering College offers 11 M.Tech courses whereas Rajalakshmi Engineering College only offers eight and CIT Chennai only offers three courses. SVUCE also has a more varied tuition fee, with total tuition fee of the programme at INR 37,000 - 86,000 depending upon the course chosen.

If you are willing to take admission for B.Tech at CIT Chennai, yes, you can take admission without any entrance exam. Admissions at this institute are purely merit-based, and the merit is prepared based on the seats intake and 12th score of applicants. As you have a very decent score in your 12th, you have a 50/50 chance of getting admission. However, previous year merit score information is not available, so a prediction can also not be made.

For admission in Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT), Kundrathur you need to give Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TNCET) or Graduate Aptitude Test of Engineering (GATE). After the exams result get out, apply for the Tamil Nadu Common Admission (TANCA) process for the college.
On the basis of the result of exams you'll be eligible to take admission in Chennai Institute of Technology.

Both Annamalai University and Chennai Institute of Technology are good options to pursue ME/MTech. However, in terms of affordability, Annamalai University is more affordable since the tuition fees to pursue ME/MTech at Annamalai University range from INR 50,000 to INR 1.1 lakh, and the tuition fee to pursue ME/MTech at Chennai Institute of Technology is INR 1.6 lakh.
