Chennai Institute of Technology 95.7% placement rate for the Class of 2025. The the highest package offered during the Chennai Institute of Technology placement 2025 stood at INR 51 LPA. The students received 39 Marquee offers of above INR 20 LPA. The top recruiters are Microsoft, Qualcomm, Zscalar, Amazon, Cisco, Deloitte, IBM, HCL, Cognizant, Infosys,  etc..

Yes, it is worth to join Chennai Institute of Technology. The institute offers full-time engineering programmes, including BTech/ BE programmes in 14 specialisations and postgraduate programmes in 5 specialisations. As per the reports, CIT Chennai has achieved a 95.7% placement rate for the Class of 2025. Chennai Institute of Technology is a private engineering institute. It is an autonomous engineering institute which is affilaited with Anna University and recognised by the UGC and AICTE. Chennai Institute of Technology has signed numerous MoUs nationally and internationally, enhancing student opportunities for learning and research. Also, it has 30 centres of excellence,  such as the HCL Centre of Excellence for Embedded and Imaging Technology, Virtusa Centre of Excellence for Artificial Intelligence Managed Services, etc. The institute is accredited by NAAC A+ Grade.

Chennai Institute of Technology is not a Tier 1 college. The college is affiliated to Anna University and is recognised by AICTE and UGC. The college has been ranked by the NIRF in the 101–150 band for Engineering. The institute has many different national and international MoUs.

CIT is frequently ranked among top 150 engineering institutions in India by different national bodies like NIRF. Anna University has been recognised by the UGC and AIU. Furthermore, Anna University has also received an A Grade accreditation from the NAAC.

The cutoff of Chennai Institute of Technology admission 2025 depends on the sanctioned intake capacity of the candidate's preferred course and specialisation. Currently, there are:

1.       30 seats for BE Civil Engineering.

2.       60 seats for BE Biomedical Engineering.

3.       240 seats for BE Computer Science and Engineering.

4.       60 seats for BE Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
