SASTRA, Chennai Campus has a big campus and a big central library. SASTRA Chennai has a central computing centre and computer labs. SASTRA Vadapalani has licensed softwares and support hardwares like printers, UPS, servers, and others.

SSRIT Chennai admission to MTech course is based on CEETA-PG score. Additionally, candidates must pass UG examination of Anna University or equivalent as specified under the qualifications for admissions as per the Tamil Nadu Common Admission  to apply for ME/ MTech course. Once selected, candidates have to participate in CEETA-PG Counselling for admission.

Yes, SSRIT Chennai offers lateral entry to BTech course. Aspirants who have completed Diploma in Engineering/ Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education,  Tamil Nadu or its equivalent are eligible to apply for Lateral entry admission to the third semester of BE/ BTech in the branch corresponding to the branch of study can apply for BE/ BTech (LE). 

The candidates who possess a Degree in Science (BSc) with Mathematics as a subject at the BSc level are also eligible to apply for lateral entry admission to the third semester of BE/ BTech.
