MIT offers only 8 courses if I am not wrong where as PSG offers 18 different courses now including Robotics. Aeronautical is good in MIT where as PSG doesn't have the course. Location also matters when you choose a college. I had around 15 guys in my batch ( BE Production) 20082012 from Chennai when

PSG Coimbatore are better than SSN Chennai as you can compare it by the ranking difference gap between them(approx.25) and their placement record.

Anna University is offers B.Tech in food technology. For getting admission, You have to clear the TNEA (Tamilnadu engineering admission) test. The eligibiliy criteria of TNEA is as under. Min. Average marks in PCM in HSC or 10+2 for General category=50%
Min. Average marks in PCM in HSC or 10+2 for OB

Hello Lokesh,
I have not understood your term of "my cut-off". This year, TN has decided to give admissions based on marks obtained in 12th exam. Hence any data of previous year is of no use. Your admission will depend on how those ahead of you give their choice.

According to your rank, you will easily get VIT-Vellore in the 2nd or maximum in the 3rd round. Suppose, if 1% you didn't get Vellore then you will get Chennai easily, but I would suggest you be focused on Vellore and don't try to go with Chennai campus of VIT.

Hi,
It's totally dependent on the college where you are applying for admission in B.Tech that whether that college wants your JEE score or not to be written in the given space. You need to ask the college authorities about what to do if you didn't take JEE Mains exam.
