No you can't because they ask for last semester result. Can I get admission to Uttaranchal University without taking CUET. Admission to all the courses is based on merit in the qualifying exam followed by an Interview.

The first step for any subject preparation is to comprehensively understand the syllabus. Hence, take a print out of the syllabuses for get and English from the official CUET website. For get: Make a realistic plan/timetable and try to stick to it. Divide your preparation in phases. The CUET UG 2023 Exam is being conducted in phases. So yes, for a number of candidates the exam will be conducted in multiple days. And hence the admit cards are also being released in phases. The first phase is for the dates 21st till 24th May. The candidates whose exams are scheduled in this time period only, can access the Admit Card. The second phase is from 25th May 28th May, for which the Admit Cards have also been released. So, to answer your question, one of the subjects exam has been scheduled in the first phase (21st 24th May).
